The newest elementary school in the Central Unified School District, Han Phan Tilley serves student from kindergarten through sixth grade and is located on North Valentine Avenue. The two-story school room building is the first in the district. The new $28 million construction was opened in 2016, providing 79,000 square feet for up to 700 students to learn.
Students, faculty, and staff enjoy the soundproof classrooms and state-of-the-art technology like TV-monitor-sized smart boards for students to write.
The campus also houses a single-story multipurpose and administration building, and kindergarten, library, and computer lab building. The school’s library is a special place, honoring late beloved teacher Hanh Phan Tilley, who had a passion for children’s literature.
Hanh Phan Tilley’s Leap to Success after-school program is focused on art and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) with Snap the Gap, a special progam to close the gender gap in STEM, and KiwiCo, a project-driven program, as well as mentorships, a NASA academy, coding classes, and robotics.
The school’s Panthers Den expanded learning program provides participating students with educational and enrichment activities on Mondays through Thursday until 6 PM.

This is the best school I've seen in my whole life. I actually went to this school. the teachers are amazing! They do a ton of events and they're so fun! they do in fact have a special education system. and the teachers work very well. safety is top-notch and love the school in general!
