GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had a very nice experience at Memorial High School. Most of my teachers were nice and considerate, and it was clear that security was an active precaution the administration took when letting people into the building. There was not a very vibrant school spirit when I attended, however, but that was largely due to COVID-19.

As an upcoming senior this year, I was able to see the shifts and changes of Memorial. It has gained a reputation, however is now being changed in order to be more orderly and avoid a repeat of past mistakes.

Established in 2018, Memorial High School's modern and clean design quickly caught my eye. I felt that while most of the teachers there were quite good, it was not academically tough enough. We had the constant reputation of being the most lenient school in the district when it came to deadlines, second chances, etc., and I felt that this system does not prepare students well in the real world.
