It's definitely a good school, don't get me wrong. However, I myself am more focused on academics. It offers good courses to take, but overall I feel as if the sports and band is where the school really puts its resources towards. I've learned a lot, but I'm not sure how ready I feel for college, and other students too.

I studied at Wakeland for 3 years. I moved from Mexico in sophomore year and took many AP and advanced classes. I would definitely recommend this school!

Overall, attending wakeland has been a positive experience for me. My teachers have been eager to help and patient with students. There are many opportunities to get involved such as clubs during lunch, school sports, and organizations. The pta does a great job organizing senior events for a memorable school year.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! I'm a 15 year old with autism and I had a horrible first year here, the school admins do nothing about bullying, you'd have a better chance at telling them to stop than going to the ap, and the teachers don't care if your being bullied my first year here took...
