The best part of Wakeland is the amount of resources given to the students. It is easy for us students to receive help from teachers and take classes that will really challenge us due to the opportunities available. I'd like to see a change of how inclusive the school is to different cultures and put more of an effort of involving more culture friendly activities. Maybe a culture night where there are different booths representing different cultures to help educate the students on different cultures around them.

Overall my experience was just ok. The staff or the administration did not do too much to make it anything more than just ok. Another thing is, as a sports player I used the facilities a lot and to be honest they were sub par in almost every aspect. For Wakeland to be a 5A school in the state of Texas and for them to have 3A level facilities reflects on how little FISD cares about sports. I would have liked to see a change to the facilities and a larger involvement of making high school a better experience, especially for the seniors.
