The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was an interesting school, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others, but I wouldn't say going here caused me to be less prepared compared to any other highschool in my area. I will say the faculty were quite inadequate when it came to almost everything, especially the student advisors who registered you for classes.

My overall experience at Buchholz High School has been extremely positive and impactful. My teachers and opportunities have been amazing thus far. I'm so excited about my upcoming senior year and serving as the Class of 2025 Historian and Vice President for the National Honor Society. I'm also excited, but sad that this is my last year as a Varsity High School Cheerleader. Let's Go Bobcats!!!

I enjoyed my classes and most of my teacher, I just feel like we could've been better prepared for college and going over the application process. But other then that I feel like I do well on tests and my school does really well with teaching math, but the school is definitely weaker in the science
Some teachers here don't really care about there students and don't engage, overall the staff seems to have good intentions as heart, but I wouldn't recommend this school.

Teachers are overwhelmed; we found them to be caring, qualified, engaging, but overloaded. There are mo...
