Gateway is a terrific small school which has its benefits and opportunities. Students may become overly comfortable, as the environment is similar to ones own family. There is one classroom of each grade, and many students attend K-8th grade. By the time they reach 8th grade, most students are very ready to move on.

Gallatin Gateway School is a real gem and provides a small school education to students while being able to live near Bozeman. The family-like atmosphere provides the "village" every family needs. The teachers are amazing at this school!However the consistent issue is the administration and the office personnel. The "new" secretary is rude and vindictive.
