Galva Jr/Sr High School is a great school located in rural Henry County Illinois. They offer a variety of classes in conjunction with the local community college to help prepare students for what lies beyond high school.

This a horrible school where bullying is allowed and nothing is done unless you have the correct last name. Students are not treated equal & teachers are allowed to humiliate student in front of the class, refuse to accept students homework, then giving them zeros and fail them for it. Even when you can prove a student is being treated unfairly with documentation, nothing is done.

Overall, Galva High School is a great environment. It is a small, struggling school, but they do the best they can with what they have. Majority of my teachers got to know us on a personal level and were awesome. The worst thing for me about this school is the fact that there are no AP or honors classes. I average a 97-100% in all of my classes with ease. I'm not a genius. I am just not challenged enough. My favorite part of this school has been our FFA program. We have the best teacher/advisor that truly cares for us all. I have enjoyed my time at Galva, but I'm also ready for a more exciting and challenging educational experience in college.

This school is just all in total not good teacher will team up on you over 1 thing kids get away with everything and you can basically do whatever you want unless you a kid targeted I would not recommend this school to parents if you want them to have a good school experience and good mental health

The worst school I have ever seen and the reason many families move from Galva is for their children to be treated with respect and fair

I would rate this school the worst I've ever seen in all aspects! From what I've seen they could care less about the students. I don't know how they can still operate.
