Located on Wilken Way in Garden Grove just south of Downtown Anaheim, this highly ranked public elementary school serves approximately 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Parkview Elementary School is a member of Garden Grove Unified School District and has been honored as a California Honor Roll School. Parkview has test scores in both English and math that rank above the state average, as well as an approximate student-to-teacher ratio of 21-to-1. In addition to its high-quality core academic and arts curriculum, Parkview Elementary School offers a district-sponsored Gifted and Talented Education Program for students who show exceptional academic promise. The school also has a robust, district-sponsored program that is designed to support students’ social and emotional growth. Known as ASPIRE (Advancing Social-Emotional Prevention, Intervention and Resiliency in Education), the program utilizes the expertise of professional therapists and counselors. Parkview Elementary also partners with the Boys & Girls Club to provide enriching after school programs for its pupils that help to reinforce the curriculum as well as to promote positive social interaction in students.
