The size is nice, but it can be difficult for above-average students to fit in. Though they do make some concessions, it takes a lot of effort on the part of the student and their parents in order to get any changes. They don't always do well with bullying either; with the class sizes, it can be nigh on impossible to find friends after the majority have shut you out.

Gardiner is a school that works hard to prepare all its students not only for college but high school as well. I love that it is a small school with less than one hundred students, it makes learning easier with a higher chance to have a one on one with the teacher. I would like to chance the new grading system that the school is working towards. It has caused a lot of problems for many students.

They have an excellent volleyball team/coach and an excellent speech and drama team/coach. They have several clubs to chose from.

There are a few terrific and highly underpaid teachers here and some awful teachers. If your student likes a teacher in the 7th grade--lucky them!
