GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Gardiner is a school that works hard to prepare all its students not only for college but high school as well. I love that it is a small school with less than one hundred students, it makes learning easier with a higher chance to have a one on one with the teacher. I would like to chance the new grading system that the school is working towards. It has caused a lot of problems for many students.

I think that the teachers at this school are really some of the best. Gardiner Public School is rated the #1 School in Montana, and I would agree. The teachers are approachable, and very willing to help. They really want us to do our best and succeed with occasional failure. "Fail successfully" has been our motto this year. Of course, there are going to be hard days, but they ultimately are encouraging us to always try our hardest even if it means being vulnerable to fail.

They have an excellent volleyball team/coach and an excellent speech and drama team/coach. They have several clubs to chose from.

They may well have that same teacher for the next 6 years. Might be a drawback if the teacher is not so good or if there is a personality conflict. Choic...

I can tell you that we relocated to Gardiner from California (job advancement), I was somewhat worried, as we were in the Marin school district, considered on of the best in California. The California school my kids attended received a GreatSchools.org rating in the top 50 overall in the country, an...
