GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My best experiences at Gaylord is with the performing arts. I have been in band since 6th grade and the band director is one of the most supportive people Ihave ever meet. If I had to change anything about the school, it would be the food. I don't know if it is because it is free or what, but the fries they normal give are either soggy or rock hard.

Was a good school, however, some teachers were not a hit. There was decent athletics. There was good support, yet I have also heard otherwise from friends.

The teachers try to do their job at GHS but they are not getting the job done. The staff is nasty if you ask questions and contradict the policy. This isn’t a nice place to learn.

The school curriculum, overall is pretty good. They teach things at a good pace and as needed. Although, quite a few of my past teachers were not the best. I would politely ask for them to repeat something and they'd just go on. Or, even worse, they'd ask me to leave the class for being disrespectfu...
