Overall, the teachers are welcoming and nice; they do good with their teaching and always aim to prepare you for the future. I've always felt safe at Geneseo High School. When it comes to the population of the school, from my perspective, GHS hasn't been all too diverse, but recently there has been more diversity. GHS is very sports based, but you can still find a comfortable place even if you're not too into sports with plenty of clubs and activities.

I love my old high school. I would say that some of the best things about GHS were all of the opportunities for involvement. We have just about every major athletic team, a theatre and music program, and tons of clubs and activities to choose from. One thing that I would love to see change is the treatment of girls sports and activities. I do think that it has gotten better in recent years, but there is still a divide in what the boys athletic teams get/have and what the girls teams have received. I also loved my teachers at GHS. I can confidently say that they all cared about my success.

Geneseo High School has a lot of things to offer, but if you aren't naturally smart or social you will sink very quickly. The teachers also are not always great at keeping up with students who need extra help and the admin seems to not trust their students in the slightest.

The special education and life skills program sucks, I would not recommend this school, and the high school does not follow there anti bullying policy. They support there athletes and their students that come from big money.
