Neighboring a quiet park within the heart of a residential community, Carol Rae Ranch Elementary inspires more than 500 children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade every day in the Gilbert Public Schools District.
With a mission to build a community of compassionate, life-long learners, the teachers and staff at Carol Rae Ranch are proud to help every child thrive in this A+ School of Excellence. As a feather in their cap, students at Carol Rae Ranch consistently earn test scores in reading and math that are well above district’s average and far above the state’s average, helping the school rank near the top 10% of all elementary schools in Arizona.
In addition to following an award-winning Digital Citizenship Curriculum designed for the 21st century, the school also integrates music, art, library, physical education and technology into the everyday schedule so students can become well-rounded individuals.
Beyond the classroom, students can also pursue a range of enrichment activities offered in the district including art, beginners sports training, chess, dance, music and robotics, among other offerings.
Carol Rae Ranch fills their annual calendar with school spirit days, donut mornings, pizza nights and carnivals where everyone can don their green and purple to enjoy learning every day.

I began working here this school year and it has been an extremely positive experience. The principal includes special education students in every opportunity. The staff is pleasant and makes the workplace enjoyable.

Both of my daughters went through Carol Rae Ranch from K-6 grade. The teachers here were loving and supportive. I love the atmosphere of the school from the minute you walk in. The front office staff is wonderful as are all the teachers from the classroom to the special areas. They have a wonderful SPICE program that teaches the students empathy and understanding of students that are different. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.
