Oak Tree Elementary School is a public school offering prekindergarten through sixth grade instruction.
Home of the Eagles, the school is a proud member of the Gilbert Public Schools District. The curriculum has a strong foundation in core subjects with a variety of electives suited for students' interests.
Students progress through mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts with the support of teachers and staff to provide individualized attention when needed. There are Accelerated and Gifted programs for fast-paced learners.
Oak Tree Elementary School offers exploration field trips such as Oceanography Club and Science Camp. Physical fitness instruction and activities are included in the weekly schedule on sporting fields or in the gymnasium. Band and orchestra introduce students to musical arts. Parents can learn about their children's school life and provide input at PTO meetings. Before- and after-school programs are available.

Caring staff, great kids and a principal who is constantly working to build community. We love the after school programs offered for our kids.

When I went to this school, they provided basically nothing for the 6th grade classes. The teachers may be nice to some but not all. Most harassed us. They didn't provide proper treatment for the children and even though they showed symptoms of depression or anxiety, they focused on academics and bus drill. While I went there, there was a kid who was sent to court for bringing drugs onto school grounds. They clearly show no support what so ever to the upperclassmen.
