GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

the school has a terribly bad rap but we do end up having the most fun out of all the schools and depending what group your in you have tons of people to go through the experience with you

I believe school is what you make it so personally my experience hasn't been too bad. The school is very dirty. Food is often left on the ground and there are a bunch of mice. The teachers are alright. Just like any school you get some bad ones and some good ones. Overall, I'd say this school is alright. A lot of fights do happen and we've had a few safety scares over the years.

Glen Burnie is an enjoyable high school with aloft of honor in sports as well as student life. Academics are not necessarily a strong suit but the school as a whole feels like a community.

I graduated this year (2022). It was challenging with the pandemic, but I had a really good year after the schools reopened.

My child has made numerous attempts to get their grade up in class but she offers no s...

So this school district is going to change soon. The new Old Mill High School will be the new public High School for the homes in this area. They have a much better rating overall than Glen Burnie. Great improvement.
