mr manoogian is a mean teacher and i advise that that you keep your kids away from this place. Arizona has enough trouble already with education...being the fourth worst state in education in the country. and this school makes it 2 times worse. mr manoogian hits us with yard sticks and makes all of the females very uncomfortable. he even tries to get really close to every kid and touch them. and last year he farted in my face

I'm a biracial male and I never had an issue of not being accepted because of my race. I had many friends and never felt pressured into doing anything I didn't want to do.

The school is nice, but could use some help in certain areas such as the cafeteria and library. Both are very small and gets crowded. The outside areas are also small and more geared toward the younger students, would've been nice to have an area for the older students as well.

I have had 4 children attend Desert Star over the past 10 years and have always been pleased with the school's expectations of my kids. Desert School is a wonderful school. My son is excited to go to school each day. I'm very impressed with his progress. All of the teachers and staff are caring and concerned about all students.
