Sedgefield Middle School lies on the north side of Goose Creek and serves sixth to eighth-grade students. With larger-than-average classes, students gain valuable social skills and leadership opportunities through public education.
Multiple stakeholders and grants provide the school with unique resources allowing students to enhance their learning and obtain a hands-on education. The school offers a coding and programming system, Virtual Reality systems, and a 3-D printer, allowing students to work with technology they might encounter in the workplace.
In addition to special programs, the school hosts many exciting events like spirit week, Winterfest, kindness week, and multiple fine arts performances. These events help the school connect with community members and often give students a chance to show off their Shark pride.
The school consistently boasts above-average scores in algebra and English and strives toward above-average scores in the remaining subjects. In addition to core classes, students participate in courses like band, chorus, physical education, orchestra, and technology.

This school is much better than mevers. There is a lot of better people this year and much nicer and you will make a ton of friends. The teachers are also better this year and they actually care about their students. Plus the teachers are certified unlike mevers.

This school was terrible. The students were unruly and mostthe teachers either couldn't get them under control or just couldn't be bothered. Several of my former teachers said they hated working there and left the first chance they got. Bullying was rampant and the administration. often gave bullies...
