I loved it there, I enjoyed all the stuff I experienced, and everything else that had relations to those two. It's pretty sad I'm gonna have to leave it all behind. But it's pretty happy to see the memories I have made during my 4 years there. Hopefully I get to pay this high school a visit just to relive everything I made and also pay some old folks during my high school days a visit.

The school was small. Many of the teachers created personal issues with the students. they would pick their favorites and would act in jealousy. they would take their childhood trauma out on their students. the teacher who did this was Melissa Ross. she is the 11th grade english teacher and has ruined the high school experience for many students. all because she is power hungry and takes out her childhood of being bullied and being fat onto the students she is jealous of.

John S. Burke Catholic gave me an amazing high school experience. Going into Burke I was very shy and the community at Burke made me more outgoing. Faculty at Burke encourage students to attend school events and games. They offer after school help and study halls. If I were to change something at Burke it would be the lack of information on trade school. We had a trade school nearby and was never encouraged to attend one the many programs offered. Overall the school gave me the ability to identify with not only myself but also my religion.

We have used both public and Burke for high school, no comparison. Burke was superior in all areas. My oldest went to a smaller local school, with no input from guidance for college prep- simply a department that arranged class schedules. Further to that, my son was not challenged, he was told a 3 c...

I would recommend this school to another parent. The kids are very nice, well behaved and accepting. My daughter is finishing her senior year in their Honors Program. Initially, I wished I had a good public school HS option, as this high school was almost double the price of the Catholic middle scho...
