Great school, teachers, and community. You don't know how much bond each student can have. A lot of school spirit; the kind of school spirit that other schools would want to have.

Overall Farrington is a good school for those living in the area but lacks in the areas of STEM curriculum and college prep, The College counselors often only work intensively with a select group of students throughout their 4 years but if that doesnt include you, you are out of luck and will be lucky to get a 5 minute meeting with your counselor, everything else is reliant on you, of course there are other support methods but that is largely up to the student.

Reflecting in the late 80's and 90's, Ive had the best teachers and support from this high school. There was the negative stigma of attending a public school that is located in the low income portion of the city.
