I don't think Great Schools Rating represents the real story here. This is an incredible safe and caring community and GES has some amazing teachers. So far I'm pleased with the K-2nd grades. My grandson is a 4th grader at Granby Elementary. Ever since he started school there in kindergarten, he has had wonderful teachers and personal attention. The music program under Tanner Denne is marvelous. The Minnesingers program is outstanding. I'm glad my grandson has an quality school in Granby...

My child went to Preschool at Granby Elementary and it basically taught him to fear school. It was the same thing everyday - no curriculum really. Just markers and paper and boring. :( I wish I would have researched more before choosing Granby Elementary just because it is the main school in town.
