GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

East Newton was a wonderful high-school for kids to know their peers and for teachers to have an individual relationship with every child. The main drawbacks to East Newton was the limited opportunities for student's academics, especially compared to other high schools.

The experience here at East Newton has been fantastic, we learn hard and play hard, but over all this is a great district with amazing people and amazing teachers who love and care for each and every one of there kids.

Although there weren't many choices of classes when I went there in the 90s (and currently as well-I have several of my kids enrolled there now), the quality of education is still good.

I was accepted into the honors program at my university and will be graduating summa cum laude as an...

This is a great school! The administration and teachers honestly do everything in their power to give the children every advantage to prepare them for life after high school.
