I've gone to City High Middle School for the past 2 years and so far it's really good, their college readiness is pretty great and makes me feel like I have a good shot. Although if there is one thing that I would like to see change it would probably be the amount of work, even though it prepares me for the future the vast majority of it is sometimes too much to handle.

As a student at city, i have learned to value the education i am so lucky to be receiving. In my first couple years i did not appreciate the school for what it is, mostly because of the intense work load and high standards, but i am more prepared for college than i thought i ever could be. i have learned to be a smart, well rounded, and thoughtful person. Most students in IB courses or schools must pay tuition as the annual cost of IB is so high for most schools, but we are extremely fortunate in being in a program that gives us this education for free. Not only is the education exceeding expections, but the staff is aware of their students and adapt to teaching the way the students learn best. staff is extremely supportive and makes the process through IB 100x easier. outside of school, clubs are offered at no cost for any students who want to participate in extracurriculars. although city does not offer high school sports, middle school sports are an extremely positive environment.

The school environment is the best I've experienced, everyone is welcoming of different ideas as they are very open minded and understanding and there is a lot of diversity not only with different religions but as well as cultural backgrounds and sexuality.

They care about your grades rather than your mental health. I was in the worst place of my life, I failed on a test, and I explained this to my teacher, that I had too much homework every day and that I have a disability to concentrate, and after all of that, she just simply said, “Well, welcome to...

I am a current student at City, and I kind of liked it last year, but this year they just changed our schedule, and I feel like the homework load has doubled. We're getting assigned lots of projects due at the same time and not enough time to do them. I feel like my classes are mainly uninspiring, t...
