Wellspring Preparatory High School serves students in grades nine through 12, with a current enrollment of over 400 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 2010, this public charter school has been providing college preparatory education to the Grand Rapids neighborhood of Creston and the northeastern area.
As a college preparatory high school, Wellspring offers 18 advanced placement courses to its students, allowing them to earn college credit while in high school. The Early College Program, an educational plan that allows students to complete high school and earn an associate degree in a total of five years, is also available at Wellspring Preparatory Academy.
In addition to academic success, students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities like art, politics, competitive sport teams and music. As the “Home of the Wolves,” Wellspring Preparatory Academy offers team sports including cross country, soccer, volleyball, track, golf, basketball and more.
The mission of Wellspring Preparatory Academy focuses on helping students excel in high school, preparing them for success in college and encouraging them to be involved members of their communities. Every aspect of Wellspring is guided by five simple principles rigor, relevance, relationships, responsibility and moral focus.

The best part about wellspring is the college program you can do during ur 11th and 12th grade year. The worst part is teachers leaving from your 9th grade year and not really growing with teacher

School has pretty great diversity, but adminstration tends to power trip and overstep on their duties. If you are going here solely for college prep, there are better options.

I had a good experience when I previously attended Wellspring Preparatory High-School. I loved it very much and I've grew a lot there. The staff was amazing and I am happy I got to spend 4 years of my life there. Currently I am attending a school located in Berrien Springs Michigan called Andrews University. I am Alumni of Wellspring now.
