I have seen the good and not-so-great parts in my four years at Grandview. I will say that the teachers there want to help but you need to be willing to accept it. The workload can be a lot at times and with so many rule changes, things can get hectic. One thing I would like to see change is how active the students are in sports. There are a lot of students with athletic talent but because of their academics, they are unable to participate. Hopefully, the teachers and staff can work with the students to help them become better and eligible for the things they may want to do.

I have gone to Grandview High School for my whole high school career. I am involved in Volleyball and track and field. I would say the school definitely can do better at preparing their students for college and adult life. My overall experience, I would give it a 7/10 .

Grandview Senior High School is definitely an experience. Guidance counselors make 2 year colleges and vocational schools appear to be the highest aspirations, teachers (many of them) don't like teaching, the school building is kind of small, and the curriculum is easy. I would like to one day be proud to attend but as of now I am not. I would like to be taught by teachers that love to teach and for the coursework to challenge me. All in all its not as bad as I know some schools are but its not average and it isn't great either. Two stars describe it well. It is a poor quality high school.

Grandview School District has engaged in what I believe is a clear and ongoing violation of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g and 34 CFR Part 99, gives parents and eligible students the right to inspect and obtain copies of education records within 45 ca...

As someone who has gone through Grandview Middle and High School, I will tell you that I was not prepared for college after graduating from here. I was in all of the advanced classes, took college credit courses and I thought I was ready. However, I had not developed any study skills or had my futur...
