GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Pretty good, we could use a more inclusive school culture. Right now, minorities tend to end up somewhat cast aside and we could use a student body with more respect to each other and the staff.

It was pretty good wish that there were more music programs. As well as more support from the staff members.

All the teachers were very kind and helpful. Most of the students were some of the nicest people I met, they would constantly stay kind to others around them. Athletics were competitive and very welcoming to new people.

If you are neurodivergent or suffer from mental health issues, avoid this school - and this entire town, for that matter - like the plague. You will be treated like a criminal. The counselors are a joke and have absolutely zero understanding of basic psychology. I'm genuinely amazed they still have...

As a former student of GPHS I can honestly say that I wouldn't trade my experience there for anything. Not only did participation in their excellent Orchestra Program, Cheerleading, Golf team and student body aid in the procurement of a full scholarship to Columbia University - once there I was as p...
