The school help me build good habits that I still use in college today however I would not say it help me for college. The school prompts a higher education but they did not off any college credit school like more public school. However, I continue at that high school for the sport. I was on the varsity swim team all four years and that helped me get a scholarship for swimming in college.

I started here in 8th grade, at first I hated it but I eventually grew to enjoy the experiences and challenges my school offered. Overall my favorite aspect of it was my Junior year play, it brought my entire grade together to work on something special. Overall its been a good run, I would like it if there were more initiative in reaching out to new students however. It was rough getting acclimated, it took me years.

Great Hearts has taught me well in critical thinking and essay writing. Unfortunately, there are no electives. Even if taking a certain class will bring down the GPA of a student, the student is forced to take the class. As a consequence of this, there is little opportunity for tailoring the high school experience to fit each student.

The school has a philosophy where the kids themselves teach the classes, largely absolving the teachers of responsibility for teaching (or understanding) the subject matter. This might be ok for literature and history, but it fails miserably in math and science. They rely on the students to learn th...

It has been an excellent and complete education for our grandkids. They have flourished. Academically it is a challenge but there is plenty of help and support. Students are engaged and teachers are quit uniquely skilled. Children graduate not only with a top-rate education but with excellent charac...

Very challenging. I WOULD NOT send my child here if I had other options. Unless your child is already gifted and excelled academically, they aren’t going to flourish here
