The best parts are the events held there and seeing teachers and friends. Another best part is the breaks such as thanksgiving, Christmas break, winter and spring break. I think the worst parts are the testing weeks like midterms, APs and finals, especially for lowerclassmen and juniors. I'm not exactly sure what I would like to see change but I think perhaps the fact that teachers give a lot more tests the week before breaks.

Overall the high school has good programs and teachers. For those willing to take advantage of the many resources available, the school can be a great opportunity. What is lacks is the same level of high achieving students willing to learn from the great teachers.

When I started attending Great Neck North High School is the fall it was a very welcoming environment. The resources the school uses are top notch and you can tell the teachers really care about your learning experience. Furthermore the school culture is amazing. We have several school events that keep students engaged with the school.

I've always been resentful of the fact they chose to remove me from their program rather than attempt to identify the problem. Excellent school. Got a great education from there a few years ago. It wasn't until I went to college did I really appreciate my former high school. Classes were small. The teachers were really supportive, and I really enjoyed my time there.
