During my three years of middle school I have always hated the dress code. 8th grade year they got really strict on us for wearing jackets that didn't show your school logo. I know it was for safety and all but they took it overboard. They started taking our jackets away and most of the time they never gave it back. Despite that fact, I have some good memories about that school. Prom was the best. Also our support for athelitic teams were the best especially the boys soccer team.

The students have a great sense of family at this school.

The Administration keeps the school safe and under control. There is a no tolerance policy for bullying. Every adult at Swain is involved with the student's success.

The 3rd day my son was there he was labeled a gang member because of the student he was paired with for a project is in a gang. He speaks English and the teachers there want speak to him unless he has a translator there and they get upset because he does not know what the translator is saying. All b...

LC has a bad rap but as an educator and a parent, I'm extremely happy with the changes that Mr. Thomas and his staff have made. My children feel safe and are doing very well. The communication with teachers and staff is great too. Thanks LC!!
