GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hi my name is MaRyah West and I attend Greene County High School which is a great school. We offer dual enrollment which helps prepare students like myself for college. We have career coaches that help each student with their career path throughout high school. We have a great counselor that gives out vital information about scholarships and takes the students on college tours throughout the school year. The staff at my school is great and they give us the extra push we need to prepare us for the future. I love my school and there is nothing I I would change about it.

Greene county high school is a decent school. The students are generally rude and unkempt in nature, and the teachers tend to lack the ability to care about their students and don't generally take in consideration their mental health. At least it's kept clean, though.

I love the learning environment. The teachers as well as the staff makes every kid feel as if they are important and always put their education first.

They mistreated my child for no reason. The assistant principal, Brock, is horrible and should be runned out of town along with some unqualified teachers.

Student (2005-2009) This school has a great Biology and Social Studies department, specifically Biology, Economics, and AP Gov't. I currently attend Valdosta State University (VSU) as a double major in Spanish/French with a minor in Psychology and GCHS foreign language deparment helped tremendously...
