Blue Ridge was a much better school than others I've heard of, but they could definitely make some changes.

I love the blueridge community,everyone is always there for eachother.We recently went through a hardship losing a good friend in our class,it was by far the worst thing i went through during highschool.Through that hard experience it showed me how good our community really is,and how even through the hard times,you still feel supported by those around you.

I have been helped a lot by attending Blue Ridge High School. I have met some of the best teachers I've ever had, and truly believe that my experiences here have bettered me as a person. That being said, I would change the actions of my classmates. There are a lot of people that attend this school that push their religion, or use it as an excuse to be discriminatory. I don't believe the administrators are aware of this, and the things that these people do are not things that they could get in trouble for. I suppose I would just make it a less casually discriminatory environment, because people joke about discriminatory subjects, and it can really hurt people. You never know who has heard you say something, or who what you've said may hurt.

Both my older kids go to Blue Ridge. They have great grades and are challenged constantly to work hard. I have heard of other children struggling socially and on some classes so it all depends on each kid experience.

Teachers and student body is great but Administration is terrible and corrupt. No fairness when it comes to being a senior and transitioning to post-secondary education.
