The best part about Greer High is how much the admin and teachers care. These adults put so much work and thought into many events to make the students learn more. The thing I dislike the most is the student involvement, well the lack of it. I feel that many students don't care to be involved in school activities anymore. So, the best and worst part of Greer is the involvement. I love that the adults are there to guide the students, but the students are not often willing to accept the guidance.

Greer High was overall a great school. We had no problems with teaching staff. Administration on the other hand could have been more connected to students and parents. All four years Alex had scheduling conflicts with his year long choir classes. Fine arts was not a priority for Greer High which made it hard for a student who wanted to pursue music as a career. I am an alumni of Greer High so this school holds a large place in my heart. I just hope administrators understand that fine arts help develop all areas of learning.

When I first entered Greer High I was scared of the possibility of either getting lost/confused about where to go and who to trust etc. but the past 4 years has been amazing! I meet the most amazing teachers there like the newbie, Mr. Minor, then there's Mr. Nye and Mr. Gunter who always have our best interests at heart! The guidance counselors are so helpful! I had 2 different counselors , Mr. Moleman and Mrs. Kerbuski, they helped me so much! The schools currently changing the way the classrooms look, and they're adding a bank, ( I'm not sure what having a bank in the school will benefit us in any way but anyhoo), one thing that I would like to see change is the fact that everyone we need more people to have free lunch! Since we're not a big school most of us don't have the privilege to have free lunch, on my last year here I had to pay around $2 for my lunch. But other than that, everything is perfect!!
