The highlights are being able to form relationships with teachers, staff, and friends. Some downsides have been homophobia, racism, and sexism from students.

Ive loved the school and my experiences. Ive been able to take advanced classes that have pushed me academically. As a musician the band program is exceptional and has grown my love for music. As a dual sport athlete ive loved how accomodating the teachers are to sports schedules, and the coaches are amazing. Overall its a great school and deserves its high ratings

My experience at Sam Barlow High School has been amazing for the past four years. The best part of my experience is with the staff. The staff are always there for you when you need them. Every staff is amazing, they connect with every student, and finding the best way to teach them. One bad part about my experience at Barlow is all the students, I feel like its harder to ask questions. If the classes were smaller, then teachers could have one on one with students.

Very, VERY, good experience. I absolutely loved Barlow. I graduated with a 3.8 gpa.I was in journalism and wrote many, many articles.I miss Barlow! I love Sam Barlow High school!

Barlow is a school with many problems. Majority of these are resulting from the lower level staff and administration. Trash.The school is trash. Nothing more, nothing less.... The school is like a factory. They try to ship(graduate) students out of that building as cheaply as possible. They don't care about the quality of the education.
