The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Griffin really cares about the students. There has been a lot of changes (for the better!) over the last couple of years and the school climate is great. The opportunity for families to be involved is always present. These kids go to high school and really accel.

I went to this school for 9 years, it really fell off the past few years. Not just because of Covid, and I do blame Covid somewhat. The once carefree lifestyle this school had left because of new staff and old staff leaving. More pointless rules, and the staff blaming us for being unruly even though we've told them that we only act this way because we are treated that way. Honestly, this school kinda sucks now.

The only good part about the school are a few of the teachers. And I mean a total of 6.The whole time I went there I dreaded going. It shaped me into a parano...
