At my school, there is a focus on the arts witch may be beneficial to some students, but that is not a priority for me. I don't understand why if you are interested in band a choir, you take them for the entire year, while core academics such as math, english, and science are only required for two thirds of the year.

At this school, there are a lot of really good teachers who care about their students and whether or not their students succeed. Of course, it's also still a public school, so the school lunches aren't that amazing and the bathrooms are tolerable at best, but all things considered, it's an alright place. The people are for sure the best part, though.

I'm about to go into my senior year of high school and I love the way our school is! The music program is spectacular and I couldn't be happier with it. There are some great teachers and plenty of students that are there to support you too!

However, in my time at the HS l I have seen students on Twitter, Facebook, Minecraft, Netflix, Pinterest and ev...

Grinnell schools are great if you are an average to intelligent kid, or great at a sport or an extracurricular. Not a lot of thought is given to anything outside the box, but that seems to be an Iowan trait. It's important to conform here and fit in. If you don't, good luck. There's a divide between...

I really like GHS. The sports are fun, and include everybody. Not to mention the Boys Cross Country team has been to state 4 years in a row. This school has excellent teachers, and a good educational program.
