My overall experience at Gunnison High School went very well. I enjoy the interactions between grade levels in the elective classes. I hope to see change in the school spirit though, I wish more students would come to sporting events and show their pride all throughout the year rather then just during homecoming events.

I enjoyed going here but in all honesty I feel like a lot of the students got over looked and were more in the background. The teachers often did not care about bullying and would simply over look it.

Having grown up through the Gunnison Watershed School district system, I am honored that I got to experience the sense of community in the tight little school system. And while this has the perks of a strong, close knit community and connection within the school system, sometimes students are limited in taking different types of new classes due to the schools small size and rural location.

The renovation is wonderful and the school is very up to date. The teachers are great and well liked by the students. However, although there is a fairly new principal,administration is very poor. Students don't feel supported by the principal,parents don't feel supported,and many teachers don't fee...
