Lots of fights, major discipline issues, very little student freedom. Very good math classes and great spanish immersion courses.

Gunston Middle school was a diverse school with many devoted teacher. However, the unstable exchange of teachers and principles at my time there was difficult to believe the staff believed in us. I wish there was more of a college focus because many students had the potential but didn't believe in themselves, or have the support at home.

The classrooms usually have good materials, and the new smart boards are nice. Unfortunately, a few teachers give out a lot of work, and even though it's not overwhelming, it would be better if they assigned less. There are occasional fights in bathrooms. This school is good, but not great if you have a different option pick that, this school is just inconsistent some teachers are amazing and assign the perfect amount of work but still fun while others say you have 1 week to draw a poster, write an essay and make a playlist about that short novel you...
