This school is a hidden gem. My son bloomed at this school and his grades have been amazing. The school is overlooked and offers a lot.

The best parts of my experience were having great connections with the teachers. The teachers are really nice and really want students to learn something. They also show their passion for learning based on how they present themselves.

So far, I have had a good experience at the school. There are lots of resources available to the students and the teachers I had pushed me. Although there were some very interesting days, such as when we had multiple lockdowns in a week during freshman year, the students overall came together to bond over that experience or the staff helped students who were affected by such days. I would like the students to be more grateful for what they have but that's really up to the individual.

Good teachers but terrible learning environment. The administration will push sports programs as the way to bigger and better; but, every kid is not an athlete nor wants to be. Hackensack is a generally great school as long as you long as you take advantage of the AP courses. Overall the CP (college prep) classes are jokes.The school offers and array of activities and sports which are always fun to join
