It has been interesting and I don't feel as prepared for what comes after as I feel I should. The class offerings are pretty broad for a rural school but still could have more options.

Diversity is lacking. Do not like trimester system. Preferred semester system. Would like more rigorous English/ writing classes. Good support for kids with learning challenges and for kids who need academic rigor.

Wood River High School is located in a small town and is the only major public high school in a 40 mile radius. There is a wide variety of courses considering it is a small school in a small school district. I have good experiences in STEM classes and the educators push student to be their best. There are highly trained college counselors that guide students in post-secondary steps. I would appreciate seeing more college readiness steps being taken in the students' freshman and sophomore years to allow students to fully understand their next steps.

Wood river heigh is full of many tiles of students, but teacher is another thing I have never had a teacher in my years at wood river that actualy cared about the students.

WRHS retains overpaid, mediocre teachers and staff, and a new principal with little experience making over 100k. Taxes provide 26k per pupil, but the result is low SAT scores. I rated this school unsatisfactory because it should be doing so much better given its level of per pupil funding (huge--around $25,000).
