Diversity is lacking. Do not like trimester system. Preferred semester system. Would like more rigorous English/ writing classes. Good support for kids with learning challenges and for kids who need academic rigor.

My experience at Wood River High School has been really good. Overall, the teachers are amazing, and only want what is best for you. The students here make coming to school fun, and we have an inclusive environment with lots of opportunities. I've gotten the chance to meet so many people through sports and extracurriculars, and feel well prepared to move on to the next step of my life.

Most of the teachers are nice. my teachers have been very helpful towards me because I have a 504 plan and overall it's a good community to be in.

THis has no emotion support and it's the only mistake that can make someone's high school experience worse.

WRHS retains overpaid, mediocre teachers and staff, and a new principal with little experience making over 100k. Taxes provide 26k per pupil, but the result is low SAT scores. Support includes a top heavy district office who is being sued, with no accountability or ethics. This district is intereste...

I rated this school unsatisfactory because it should be doing so much better given its level of per pupil funding (huge--around $25,000). Instead of being one of the best in the country, it is barely mediocre. Parents considering this school should look at graduation rates (mediocre), the abysmally...
