GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience was 50/50. There were some really great teachers but then there were some really bad teachers.

Tucket county high School is very small and everyone knows everyone. It's almost like a family! The people are the ones who made it such an amazing school.

Academics are available, but it's more difficult to arrange. There are good teachers, slackers, and some in between. We don't have many clubs/activities, and they're changing often because the start-up clubs fizzle out. School culture is good: not much drama or bullying. Many students lack motivation and ambition though. We don't have many sports, but the coaches do a good job. Resources are harder to find, but they're accessible if effort is made to look. Parent involvement isn't good: parents often complain about kids' bad (but honest) grades. At parent-teacher night, few show. Almost everyone is white- no racism though. The counselor isn't great, but she usually keeps resources around her office that kids can get. Our school is very safe. Administration was good, but our principal just left, so I don't know where that's going. The food is good. With facilities, it's good space-wise, but the ceilings have been getting a lot of water recently, and kids tear up the computers.

Honestly this school has gotten better but the corruption and flaws outweigh the progression. I don't think it's a 5 star school so I voted a 1 to even out the bad vote.
