GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We have five high schools in our county, Hampton is one of the best academic and athletic high schools in our county. The best part is they offer opportunities for everyone, every teacher and administration member there wants to make sure you succeed no matter what your goals may be. If you don't want to go to college they don't push it, they'll help you with your trade but if you want to go to college they will make sure that you are definitely ready to go. The worst part is having to leave, some of my best years were spent in that high school.

I love Hampton High because of the programs they provide such as Auto Cad and FFA, which provides a more familiar environment for me as a student.

I went to hampton for 3 years and I was not impressed, some of the teachers didn't care if you failed or not, I even had one teacher tell the class that she don't care if they fail it dont hurt her at all. Thats Not How Teachers Are Suppose To Act!!! Its their job to push people to do good in school...
