I was really excited to enroll my child in this school because of the great reviews. After K and 1st grade, it seems like the teachers are just trying to make it through the year until they can pass the kids off to another teacher. Multiple kids had issues. Students lacked social-emotional support. There is no support for teachers. The administration allows other teachers to “run” the school. The students are given a lot of busy work with little guidance.

Armstrong is the best of the best. We are a military family and this is the 5th elementary school for us. At our previous duty station we were in a top rated school in the state. In my opinion Armstrong has blown that school out of the water. This is also the second Hampton school my kids have been...

We have had a wonderful experience at Armstrong. Our differently abled children were treated with respect and care. They are challenged academically but never set to fail. They have grown leaps and bounds thanks to the dedicated staff at this school.
