Hannan High School is a small town school with a supportive teaching staff, excellent extracurricular programs and a close knit community. The family-like atmosphere, community service projects and caring teachers ensure that no student is left behind. We have a blessing box, a food pantry, and a free clothing closet for the kids who need it. There are over a dozen clubs, sports and art programs that make sure every student has an opportunity to shine.

Great school and staff and administration!! I absolutely love how everyone goes above and beyond to help with everything. It is the best school around and I feel like it gets a bad image as it is in a rural setting with limited resources. It gives our a plethora of scholarship monies and post secondary opportunities that are competitive with large AAA schools within the state. The school has a family feeling and a very positive school climate for all.

This school is very unique to say the least. It is not located in the best location, but due to the low student enrollment amount there is more personalization in the education. Lower enrollment also equates to lower funding and reduced opportunities however. If you have a passion and strive to learn then you can easily achieve that here. The teachers and administrators would do absolutely anything to help a student succeed.

Hannan Jr./Sr. High School is a Great School, I am very Proud to say my Children and Grandchildren have and are still attending Hannan!

HHS is a wonderful place for an education, the kids are great and the staff is very caring, Ive had my child in Kanawha county, Putnam county and HHH is the best. Would not ever leave!

As a recent graduate of Hannan Jr/Sr High School, I must be honest in my review. Hannan can be a friendly environment, however there is not a great deal of diversity within the student body. The education standards are not up to par for preparing students for college, or real life. The teachers are...
