Good school. Preppy, but people generally nice. Lots of course options. Great college prep. Bad food.

Teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach. Academic climate can get intense but students graduate very prepared for a college course load.

My first two years as a freshman and sophomore at Hanover High were as I expected. There was some hard work from pretty decent teachers but not a lot of choice of study opportunities. By junior year though, I was able to sign up for classes that were more interesting to me, like Military History or Greek Myths, with teachers that I really enjoyed working with.

We relocated to the area a few years ago and our oldest daughter is not at the HHS. She loves it. The teachers are excellent. We have had no problems or issues at all, and we can highly recommend this school.

I’ve had two children with very different personalities and aptitudes graduate from HHS. They both came out very prepared and, in fact, graduated from college after four years of hard work and success. As with any school, some HHS teachers were stronger than others. If I had any concerns as a parent...
