GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Understanding what it is like to be a student in the 21st century. A lot of the teachers in the school do not resonate with the students, they are simply there to teach. When you are a teacher, yes you are there to teach, however you are there to prepare your students for their future. Most of the teachers at Hardin High School, do not do that. Preparing students for their futures is a key to their success after high school. If the teachers would realize this, I would be placing a much different review.

Hardin High School is not a bad school but it also is not the greatest school either. My experience at Hardin High School was not terrible but I also wish it was better. For the most part Hardin has a great staff that connect very well with their students.

Went here my whole life, small town. No diversity. Teachers choose favorites. Your history teacher is also the coach, doesn't know or understand a lick of history. If your parents aren't a teacher or on the school board don't expect to play in any sport.

If you look at other schools of this size you will see that there are many more schools who have troubles beyond what Hardin does. although it does lack any type of gifted and talented program, and it does tend to teach to the middle, allegations that good students are held back are ludicrous.
