GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hazen is good for its size, most of the teachers are really nice and friendly and willing to help to make sure you do your best! The food is bad tho, I like outing club and I like the student council president.

Administration is difficult to collaborate with and if you want to succeed as a student you must be very self-driven. college prep was non-existent up until my senior year and made the college application process harder than it had to be. Clubs and athletics are good but unless they are supported by admin they will fall through and be pushed to the side. There are good pathways and programs to enter the workforce right out of highschool but if you are trying to go to college it is not as supported.

A very small school whose budget continues to be cut and they always take it out on the teachers. A good school for shy people but there are not many opportunities for kids that want to do something with their future.
