Overall Wallkill was a place I was able to make my home. The students make it a very loving and caring environment and makes it very comfortable and fun to go to school. The academics were very good I was able to take all the academics I wanted to and was very satisfied overall.

I transferred from a private school my junior year, it's been a long road but a memorable one. I've made many friends and every teacher I've had wants to educate and see their students succeed. The environment in the classroom has always been pleasant, and I've always enjoyed being in school

My experience at Wallkill Valley has been wonderful. I've been around many people from many schools and I can most definitely say that my school consists of the best, most genuine people. The teachers are excellent and have never failed to make me feel as if I can come to them for help. The district itself is a very nice, enjoyable place to be. With that being said, I m still a teenage girl, so the idea of having to wake up so early for school every day is miserable. It's not fun, if we could start a little later I'm sure everyone would be a little happier.

I personally have had a wonderful time at Wallkill. I got involved in sports and clubs and went to as many games, dances, etc. as I could. Getting involved help me meet new people from different sending districts. Meeting new people helped me have a great time having friends to enjoy my four years o...

It is more like a prison environment. Students are in perpetual lock down without free movement on and off campus or during lunch. The policy appears to be based upon a false ideology of chronic danger. An armed guard at the main entrance should be sufficient in a rural area with a low violent crime...

They treat the students like babies. They don't care if someone is being bullied and frankly they don't care what kids so unless it bothers them. Like you can't express yourself or anything. You are judged by everyone there.

This is a great school for well-rounded students! Aside from having talented and supportive teachers and staff it offers way more curriculum variety and after school activities that aren't available at other schools. The Art and music departments have won many awards are the best in the area!
