GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

10/10 experience. Would go again. Academics are great and challenging. School sports are fun and active. And school spirit is very high. We are all proud of our school.

You may not like everyone who goes here but you can always find someone you can connect with. The teachers are supportive and if you need help they will be happy to work with you and get you the help you need. If you have trouble you can come in before or after school and talk to the teachers. When you are looking at going to college you can ask the school counselor and she will tell you about any colleges you are interested in and walk you through the application process. If you are moving to the area consider Fillmore as an option.

There are far less extracurriculars offered at this school than you would get at a big school. The only sports offered are Football, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, Track, Volleyball, Softball, and Golf. There are clubs and organizations offered as well but definitely not the quantity of what a larger school would have to offer. I graduated with a class or 40 students from this school.

For example, students in sports are allowed to play all the time at games depending on who their parent is and ot...

My experience with Fillmore Central has been very poor. My children have experience bullying, sexual harassment, theft, and were not challenged academically. Administration does not seem interested in addressing these issues, but rather just maintaining status quo.

I am so proud that my children attend this school! Everyone from teachers to administration care about my child and their education. It is like a family. My children receive an excellent education from FC!
