Harrisburg is possibly one of the best schools in the state. Despite a few setbacks, it contends with the best schools in the area. I've personally faced problems with a few teachers (poor teaching, unfair practices, etc.) those are few and far between.

The staff and school board have little to no care about their students physical and emotional well being and are completely tolerant of bullying by using the excuse "kids will be kids."

I think it is hit or miss, but it has so much potential. Other students are really negative and make you not want to come to school sometimes, and the administration is a no from me. Which is unfortunate because there are a few good ones in the administration.

Be cautious. Do not move into a high tax county if you have a child who struggles with any type of “non visible” condition & will need a compassionate school administration to help w/a a plan for academic success. We pay high taxes in this district & get very little help w/a success plan for our chi...

Excellent teachers, brand new building, college AP credits. Fun and engaging environment. The Harrisburg School System has the best schools around.
