GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hartley has been an amazing experience that I have been blessed with. Though it is small, and there are some unforgiving teachers I have had in the past, it has become home. It is very concerned with student growth and success.

Being a student at Hartley ISD, I have been inspired to achieve my goals. When I need help, help is always available. Nearly all of my questions have been answered inside and outside of the classroom. It is easy to make friends at Hartley and find who you work well with. If I could "do it all over," my only regret is not attending this school throughout my whole education.

The teachers are great, they know how to help out. They teach the way we should be taught. They know almost enough to help us with school work and the real world. The teachers take interest in the students to stick out the most, whether they are smart or have trouble getting the work. If the teachers are needed, they are there to help.
