If you are an honor student, the schools in Hauppauge are for you. If you are special Ed you are protected by law and Hauppauge schools follow the law. However, if you are that kid in the middle, Hauppauge schools couldn't care less about you. It's like each building in the district has a flashing sign on its roof saying " hey you- the kid in the middle- YOU DON'T COUNT ".

The Administration and Staff are extremely available and responsive. I feel like this is the safest, structured place to send a child. Like any school, issues are abundant. But, they don't turn a blind eye to it. They acknowledge the issues that exist and really want to continue making the school better.

Don’t be fooled by these other bogus ratings. The Hauppauge school district is second to none. Graduated in 1987 and brought my family back to get the same 5 star education for my children. This is a blue collar family oriented tight community where we all look out for each other. 5 stars across the...

I quickly went to community college and took it from there. Hauppauge had great art classes though. If it weren’t...
