GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers are always willing to support any student and what they want to peruse in life, they want to see each student succeed.

I would hope Hearne Highschool will offer for college courses to take. Having college credit looks great for admissions to any college. I want Hearne to build more structure for the students that attend there.

My experience with Hearne High School is currently good. I am a senior and I am currently a manager for the varsity football team. Also I am a office aid for the front office. The experience has been very fun full of memories, I can't wait to make more until my graduation day.

Worst school I ever attended, I really wish I would have studied elsewhere, if you’re not one of their favorites then you’re just an OutKast I’m just glad I got my diploma & left and never looked back.

I am a former teacher. Teacher turnover is extremely high. Academic and behavior standards are low. A large percentage of the local school age children have been transferred by their parents to neighboring school districts.

I am a former teacher. I would not recommend this school in any way. It has a bad culture with the students and low academics. The staff is working to improve the school, but issues with administration leave the staff pursuing many different directions and having to start over with new philosophies...
